Et voici les sollicitations DC pour le mois d’octobre prochain. Au programme :
– un nouveau Weekly, consacré à Earth 2, en temps normal je dirais que c’est une bonne chose car Tom Taylor a développé beauuuuuucoup d’intrigues dans le titre…sauf que j’ai l’impression que le scénariste prend ses distances avec la série, puisqu’il accueille une co-scénariste sur le titre principal+ il n’a pas l’air impliqué dans le Weekly…
– d’autres nouvelles séries. On notera les deux nouveaux titres du Bat-Verse, qui semblent très différents de l’ambiance sombre habituelle…apparemment l’influence du nouvel éditeur des titres Batman qui se révèle ici. Il y a bien entendu la nouvelle série consacrée à Deathstroke, que nous allons tous nous faire un plaisir d’éviter puisque elle est écrite par Tony Daniel…Après ses bides consécutifs sur Hawkman et Detective Comics, on aurait pu penser que la leçon avait été comprise…
Je suis plus intéressé par la nouvelle série consacrée à Lobo…oui je sais c’est la nouvelle version du personnage qui a perdu bien de sa saveur…mais elle est écrite par Cullen Bunn qui entre Magneto, Sinestro et maintenant Lobo se spécialise dans les anti-héros !!! à tendance très méchant !!! Etant donné la qualité de ses autres séries, cela vaut vraiment la peine d’aller voir.
– de nouvelles équipes créatives, ce qui concerne Green Arrow (on va pleurer longtemps là dessus) mais aussi Batgirl. Gail Simone cette fois s’en va pour différents créatifs…avec la précédente équipe édito !!!! Apparemment elle voulait rendre la série plus légère, ce dont DC ne voulait pas entendre parler alors…donc elle est partie, et pile à ce moment la nouvelle équipe édito a été nommée bien plus ouverte à ce type de direction !!!!

J’attends beaucoup de Mark Doyle en temps qu’éditeur de la branche Batman. Il faisait un super boulot chez Vertigo et on sent vraiment qu’il apporte des idées fraîches, venant de l’indé. L’initiative de Gotham Academy avec Becky Cloonan, Arkham Manor, le côté psychédélique de Grayson, la nouvelle équipe de Batgirl qui me semble très très prometteuse (et quel nouveau costume génial! Enfin une tenue d’héroïne pratique à porter et pas sexualisante!)… Tout ça change du ton très gritty que Mike Marts avait donné à l’univers de Batman (oh, c’était aussi probablement la volonté de l’ensemble des pontes de DC suivant le succès des films de Nolan).
Cette vent de fraîcheur tout droit venu de Vertigo fait vraiment plaisir et j’ai beaucoup d’attente à ce niveau.
